Catamaran and Speedboat to Isla Saona

Isla Saona is the most popular excursion in the Dominican Republic. Departing from Bayahibe, you either embark on a catamaran sailboat and return in a speed boat or visa versa. The boat ride between Saona Island and Bayahibe is approximately 1 1/2 hours when sailing on the catamaran. The time is significantly shorter when taking the power boat. The speed boat between Isla Saona and Bayahibe only takes about 45 minutes. And part of that time, you stop in a natural pool in the middle of the Caribbean sea, to relax, drink, and take in the beauty that mother nature has created. Many tourists say this is the highlight of their vacation while in the Dominican Republic. If you're coming to the Dominican Republic, it's something you don't want to miss.

Saona Island Excursion

A full day excursion at Saona Island. Leaving Bayahibe, you take a sailboat ride to Isla Saona. Along the way there is plenty of dance and Rum. Once at Isla Saona, it's a picture perfect paradise, where you can sunbath, get a massage, or just enjoy the clear warm waters and white sandy beaches. On the return trip you enjoy a speed boat ride all the way back. But not before stoping at the Natural Pool in the middle of the Caribbean for more fun and photos.
